The Brief
Meerkat required a bespoke online auction platform developed from scratch to support low-latency live streaming and timed auctions worldwide. The project needed rapid delivery to capitalize on COVID-19 restrictions limiting physical livestock auctions, ensuring accessibility and scalability for future expansion.
Outcome
DankoSpark delivered a fully customizable auction engine in record time, enabling Meerkat to stay ahead of competitors. The platform supports global accessibility and seamless user experiences, with robust scalability for future growth.
The project utilized Angular, .NET Core, and Azure to ensure low-latencyperformance and scalability. Mobile Applications are native to ensure responsive nature. The custom-built auction engine was tailored to Meerkat’s specific requirements, avoiding off-the-shelf limitations.
